In Memoriam: The GirlTREK Memorial Garden
GirlTREK, a national health movement dedicated to inspiring Black women and girls to live their healthiest, most fulfilled lives through walking, has always been about community, empowerment, and honoring our ancestors. In the spirit of remembrance and celebration, we are proud to introduce the Digital GirlTREK Memorial Garden—a virtual space created to honor the memories of our beloved trekkers who have passed away.
As we walk forward, the Digital GirlTREK Memorial Garden will be a perpetual reminder of each trekker's impact. It’s a place where memories are cherished, stories are told, and the spirit of GirlTREK lives on. Through this garden, we celebrate the lives of those who have paved the way for a healthier, more vibrant community.
