Back To School Hacks: Mental Health Edition

With another school year just around the corner, challenges surrounding the mental well-being of students are often heightened this time of year. That’s why our partners at the Crisis Text Line has created these resources for parents, educators, and students to support the back-to-school transition.

We are thrilled to share their new campaign, School Hacks: Mental Health Edition, which includes guides and other resources specifically designed to manage the stress of returning to school.

What’s included?

Back-to-School Checklist: Packed with tips for everything from keeping the classroom or home organized for the new school year to having meaningful conversations with kids or students to encourage healthy discussions about how they are feeling while hope is still within reach.

Guide to Identify Signs of Stress and Anxiety: Information on potential stressors for students, how to recognize the signs of stress and anxiety, and some practical do’s and don’ts on how to address and support their mental health before they reach a breaking point.

Mental Health Student Playbooks: Custom guides for elementary, middle school, high school, and college students designed to help them stay calm, focused, and confident for the new 2025 school year.

Download and explore each of these new resources and share them with others who may be in need of extra support as the new school year begins.

If someone you know is struggling, remind them that support is just a text away. They can text WALK to 741741 to connect with a live volunteer Crisis Counselor anytime. It’s free, confidential, and always available.

Together, we can make this school year the best one yet by prioritizing mental health and well-being!
